Hey there! I’m Kennie.

 

     I'm a simple girl born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. The first time I left the country I absolutely fell in love with travel. I live for the butterflies you get right before you step off a plane in a new country, knowing how much adventure will pursue.

In May of 2018, I graduate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with degrees in Spanish and International Studies. The majority of my studies were focused on culture and society, so it's safe to say that I LOVE meeting new people, chatting all night, and learning about different ways of life. So far, I have left a little piece of my heart in over 15 countries. I have lived in 4, and don't plan to stop exploring anytime soon.

After graduation, I made the move to Costa Rica to become an English teacher. I am TEFL certified and currently based in the most perfect little city of Heredia. There is something so inviting and enticing about this charming little country, it is almost impossible to leave.
